The Città della Terra Cruda Association is organizing “DOMU: Ideas for Sustainable Living”—a project that focuses on innovation and the revival of traditional techniques and materials, promoting the right to build with rammed earth as a model for resilient development.

The event takes place over several days and across various locations, involving every City of the Earth participating in the project. It is a traveling initiative that traverses different regions, highlighting local identities and creating a network of shared experiences.

Building on the experience gained through “LOLLAB: Creative Incubators of Local Knowledge,” DOMU was created as a platform for bringing together the custodians of local knowledge and the worlds of architecture and design, with the goal of fostering the emergence of new ideas and practices for sustainable living.

Each stop features activities dedicated to mindful living, including earthen homes, local knowledge, and local flavors: experiences that blend architecture, art, design, and craftsmanship to explore innovative perspectives deeply rooted in the various regions.

Each event is designed as a space for discussion, exchange, and experimentation—true hotbeds of ideas capable of generating new synergies among communities, professionals, and creatives.
